Susan Rae Hobbs, 59, of Carthage, Ill., died Saturday, March 6, 2010, at her home.

Born Oct. 16, 1950, in Carthage, she was the daughter of Sheldon and Cerise Neally Durham. On June 16, 1993, she married Paulie Wayne Hobbs in Carthage.

Mrs. Hobbs graduated from Carthage High School.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, James William Schofield of Lexington, N.C., and Jeffrey J. Schofield Carthage; one daughter, Crista Cerise Schofield Rainford of Anaheim, Calif.; six grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; two brothers, Raymond Durham of Chillicothe, Ill., and Billy Dee Williams of Palmdale, Calif.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister and one brother.

No visitation or services are planned. The body has been cremated.

Printy Funeral Home in Carthage is in charge of arrangements.
