Allisha Standard and Kyle Kniffen, both of Burlington will be married Aug. 7 at St. John's Catholic Church in Burlington.

Parents of the couple are Dennis and Karla Standard and John and Patty Kniffen, all of Burlington.

The bride-elect is a 2005 graduate of Burlington High School and a 2009 graduate of Western Illinois University. She is employed at Crowley, Bunger & Wright Law firm and also at Big Muddy's Restaurant.

The bridegroom-elect is a 2002 graduate of Notre Dame High School. He is employed at Fleck Sales in Burlington.
